Introduction to Generation Three

In the game the children were taken away by the social worker. I then exited without saving, went back into game, and split up the household via edit town, placing the children in a ‘foster home.’
Meet the Foster Parents
Lorie

Lorie Bachelor was born in Sunset Valley to parents Jonathan Keaton and Bella Bachelor. When Velvet Sharpe went to visit Jonathan and Bella, she found they were ignoring Lorie and instead paying attention to their infant son and chatting to another friend.

Velvet was overwhelmed with attending to Lorie’s needs, and decided she did not want children any time soon. When her housemates Tony and Emerson decided to adopt a child, Velvet moved out and went on to pursue her career in music.

Alannah

Alannah Collingwood was adopted by Tony and Emerson Collingwood, when they were living in the Gen 2 share house with Viola and Sean. She was much loved by her dads, and Viola and Sean babysat her during the day when Tony and Em were at work.

Alannah and Lorie met in high school, and were soon going steady. Lorie moved in with Alannah when they were both young adults.

Both girls wanted to adopt children, Alannah because she was adopted herself, and Lorie because she wanted to give other kids the childhood she never had. And that is how they ended up being contacted by a social worker, shortly after buying a home together in Riverview.

Chapter one of Gen Three will be up shortly! Also, I tried to get a cool new blog template, but I kept getting an error when I edited the HTML. Anyone know how to do this?

  1. That is a great solution! I am happy that we can see Alannah some more, she was a really cute kid.
Can't wait to see the first chapter of the third Generation :)

  3. I think it's a very nice touch for us to get a chance to see what Alannah's life becomes. I know it's a Wishacy, but I do hope that the kids will get a chance to interact with their parents. I assume the parent-child relationship is in tact on the family tree?

  4. @Susan The family tree is intact, and the kids will see the parents (via wishes). Next chapter is nearly done, I'm just (shock horror) actually editing it - which I never do... I have experimented with a new style of writing and I hope it works.

  7. I am alive! Real life has just been extremely busy (but in a fun, crazy way). I am sorry for no updates :( There will be one, I just don't know when. I have like... moved. And new job. And lots of novel writing. And I will explain properly in the wishacy thread when I get a chance :) Sorry to worry you *hugs*.

  9. I'm glad I dropped by! (Somehow I forgot to subscribe to comments :-p) I'm glad that the stuff keeping you away is fun and exciting. How dare you have a life :). I hope you'll come back, but hey, I realize this is a video game, and sometimes things take precedence.

  11. I just realized how long it's been since you updated and came over to see what was up... It's so handy that the others came by before me and got the story so I didn't have to wonder very long.

I'm happy to hear that you're busy with exiting new things!
